Far North Energy Survey
Dear friend, Last winter, when power prices shot up at the worst possible time, too many people found themselves in real difficulty. Some of the most acute problems were in rural Highland communities like ours, but many people found that help was hard to find. Big changes are underway in how energy is harnessed and used - for heating, electricity and transport. There are big economic opportunities for our area, but there are also dangers. The effects of fuel poverty locally last winter showed we can't afford to keep silent. Please help me to make sure the needs of northern communities are not neglected by completing this short online survey. Thank you for your help, John Thurso (The results of these questions as well as helping me do my job for you, will be submitted to the Consumer Focus investigation into heating oil and LPG) Do the Far North energy suvey.
